I am so grateful that I found the article about the benefit for the miners of hazard ky in Philadelphia. Have been trying to find out for years when it occurred. it was a benefit concert. As I recall besides Phil, Tom Paxton and Eric Anderson were part of the benefit. Also, possibly Buffy St. Marie. As it turned out it was December 4, 1963. I was a senior in a high school in Philadelphia. It has always been one of my all time great concerts. Thank who ever found the article. If any one was at the concert please fill in the gaps of who was on the bill.

singer Gil turner was there Larry robin and myself set up the concert for miners had 2 weeks to get it together needed to raise 10 thousand dollars to pay for lawyer to keep berman Gibson coal miner out of jail money was raised. Gil dorfman
